  1. Austin. this video is fake, I heard it on NPR and had to find it. Thanks for posting it. It was supposed to be used for a new high performance energy drink commercial and they filmed it at a small baseball field in the mid-west(I can’t recall the city). They used two strong men with a wires to hoist her up a few extra inches, and the “ball gir” is a very talented stunt athelete. When the video leaked the company pulled the advertising and never did anything with it.

  2. Yup, it’s a fake dude.

“The recent videos showing an incredible ball girl catch during a Fresno Grizzlies vs Tacoma Rainiers baseball game are not real but part of a viral video marketing campaign. The video showing a ballgirl jump 6 feet to catch a ball is actually part of a series for Gatorade. The viral video campaign is titled “Ball Girl” and was created by Chicago’s Element 79 Partners ad agency and directed by Baker Smith of harvest, Santa Monica.”

Still, cool looking. Although her “jump” (not the slowmo) definitely does look like it’s getting a major assist. Plus the slowmo & jump don’t match.
